• INFORMATION REGARDING STUDENT PARKING: Please pay attention to ParentSquare messages: Whenever we have a delayed opening, there is NO student parking. If you choose to park in this situation, parking is forfeited for 2 weeks.

• HOLIDAY SPIRIT WEEK: Attention all students and staff, this week is Holiday Spirit Week! Be sure to show your school spirit! Monday, December 16, is “Holiday Merch or Ugly Sweater Day” …. Tuesday, December 17, is “Winter Wonderland White Out” …. Wednesday, December 18, is “Holiday Colors” …. Thursday, December 19, is “Holiday Flannel Day” …. Friday, December 20, is “Holiday Pajama Day.”

• YEARBOOK SALES ARE LIVE! You can now purchase a yearbook at a discounted price of $120. It will go up after the new year so place your orders now to save money! Please go to yearbookforever.com to make your purchases. You will be prompted to type in our school name, “Kings Park High School.”

• WILSON TECH VISIT: Students attending the visit to Wilson Tech today, Tuesday, December 17, should meet Mrs. Cohen in the lobby at 7:30 a.m.

• NATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY: There will be a National English Honor Society meeting today, Tuesday, December 17, at 2:00 p.m. in Room 110 for anyone interested in joining. There will be cookies and hot cocoa! See you there!

• HOLIDAY DOOR DECORATING CONTEST! The National Art Honor Society’s HOLIDAY DOOR DECORATING Contest is underway!! This year’s theme is CELEBRITY SNOWMEN! Seminars participating will receive a kit to help them create their own festive door. If you would like to participate, contact Mrs. Blaurock in Room 33 or any NAHS member. Judging will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18, after school. The Winning Doors seminar will be awarded with a Holiday Breakfast on Friday, December 20. Thank you for supporting the NAHS and good luck to all participants.

• KPHS THRIFT SHOP! Are you passionate about the environment? Are you passionate about sustainable fashion? Or maybe you are looking for a way to make a difference? Kings Park High School will be opening up its very own thrift shop! There will be an interest meeting in Room 207 tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18, during the second half of seminar. Please see Ms. Keicher in Room 207 if you have any questions.

• MATH HONOR SOCIETY: The Math Honor Society will be meeting on Thursday, December 19, after school in Room 230.

• KINGS PARK MODEL UN CLUB: Kings Park Model UN club will be having a Competition Simulation and Holiday Party at 2:00 p.m. in Room 213 on Thursday, December 19. New and existing club members are invited to attend! Bring a snack to share! All students attending Columbia Conference must attend. Important info will be distributed.

• LEADERSHIP CLUB: It’s Holiday Time! Come join us for some festive winter holiday games at Leadership this Thursday, December 19. Bring a snack to share. You can drop the snack off to Mrs. Cohen or Miss Ayres, if needed. We will be in Room 101 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. We hope you can make it there! All are welcome. • KALEIDOSCOPE: There will be a Kaleidoscope meeting on Friday, December 20, right after school in Room 114. Please bring in any art or writing you’d like to contribute. We will be judging pieces that were previously submitted. All are welcome!
