  • NATIONAL STRESS AND COUNSELING AWARENESS WEEK: Next week we are celebrating National Stress and Counseling Awareness Week with fun activities to help you focus on positive mental health during lunch periods. On Monday, April 28, we will be having yoga. If you are interested, remember to bring your towel.
  • STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICER APPLICATIONS: Are you a born leader? If so, Kings Park Student Council is looking for students with strong leadership skills who are willing to dedicate their time to serving the student body as well as the community. If you are interested in running for a Student Council officer position for the 2025-26 school year, please pick up an application from Mr. Bishop in Room 210 prior to the May 19 deadline. The deadline to hand in your application is Monday, May 19, at 2:00 p.m. No applications will be accepted after the deadline date. Please see Mr. Bishop for details. This is open to all students in grades 9-11.
  • YEARBOOK SALES: The price of the yearbook is now $140. Visit yearbookforever.com and type in, “Kings Park.” Then follow the prompts to complete your purchase.
  • GAY STRAIGHT ALLIANCE: Gay Straight Alliance meets today, Friday, April 25, after school in Room 101. We will be planning for upcoming school events and community service projects. If you are unable to attend, but would like to participate in upcoming events, please see Mrs. Larkin in the Guidance Office.
  • WANT TO HEAD TO THE TROPICS? Then make it a point to go to the Heritage Museum at RJO and see a great Hawaiian/Polynesian show. The fun starts tonight, Friday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m.
  • ATTENTION HOPE SQUAD MEMBERS: Our next Hope Squad meeting will be on Tuesday, April 29, during the first half of seminar. Make sure to pick up a pass from the Attendance Office.
