- INFORMATION REGARDING STUDENT PARKING: Please pay attention to ParentSquare messages: Whenever we have a delayed opening, there is NO student parking. If you choose to park in this situation, parking is forfeited for 2 weeks. NOTE: PLEASE BE ADVISED, DUE TO THE UPCOMING BUDGET AND BOARD OF EDUCATION TRUSTEE VOTE, THERE WILL BE NO SENIOR PARKING ON TUESDAY, MAY 20. SEE NOTICE IN PARENTSQUARE FOR EXCEPTIONS.
- ATTENTION STUDENTS TAKING AP EXAMS: AP exams continue through today, Friday, May 16. Please check the schedules displayed in the lobby and main office for room assignments.
- SUMMER DRIVER EDUCATION APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE: Summer Driver Education applications are available for pickup from Ms. Sparling in Room 31 or from Mr. Celeste in Room 201. Completed applications are due back to Ms. Sparling or Mr. Celeste no later than Friday, June 6, by 3:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Sparling or Mr. Celeste.
- YEARBOOK SALES: There is still time to order a yearbook for the 2024-25 school year! Online sales will end next Friday, May 23. After this date, you will have to pay by cash or check. The price of the yearbook is now $140. Visit yearbookforever.com and type in, “Kings Park.” Then follow the prompts to complete your purchase. - SECOND ANNUAL ISSIE CARELLA COLOR RUN: Love getting outside? Hanging out with friends and doing something for a good cause? Join us for the Second Annual Issie Carella Color Run tomorrow, Saturday, May 17. Run, walk, skip, or dance your way with your friends during the Color Run and help fundraise for the Issie Carella Scholarship that goes to Seniors here at Kings Park High School! Spring Sports teams can compete against each other for a Pizza Party and bragging rights! Please see the posters around school or Mrs. Macedonio to sign up!
- STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICER APPLICATIONS: Are you a born leader? If so, Kings Park Student Council is looking for students with strong leadership skills who are willing to dedicate their time to serving the student body as well as the community. If you are interested in running for a Student Council officer position for the 2025-26 school year, please pick up an application from Mr. Bishop in Room 210 prior to the May 19 deadline. The deadline to hand in your application is Monday, May 19, at 2:00 p.m. No applications will be accepted after the deadline date. Please see Mr. Bishop for details. This is open to all students in grades 9-11.
- NATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY MEETING: The final meeting of the National English Honor Society will be held on Tuesday, May 20, in Room 101. Please make every effort to be there since this is our last meeting of the year.
