- INFORMATION REGARDING STUDENT PARKING: Please pay attention to ParentSquare messages: Whenever we have a delayed opening, there is NO student parking. If you choose to park in this situation, parking is forfeited for 2 weeks.
- ATTENTION SENIORS – SENIOR BANQUET: Senior Banquet is Wednesday, September 17, at the Stonebridge Country Club from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sign up through the Sr. Banquet post on ParentSquare. After signing up, bring in $95 to Mr. Durland in the Phys. Ed. office. The deadline for payment is this Friday, September 12. The Sr. Banquet is a great way to start the new school year with your classmates. If any questions, see Mr. Durland.
- FALL DRIVER EDUCATION APPLICATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE! Fall Driver Education applications are available for pickup from Ms. Sparling in Room 31 or from Mr. Celeste in Room 201. Completed applications are due back to Ms. Sparling no later than Friday, September 19, by 3:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Sparling or Mr. Celeste.
- NATIONAL HISTORY AND CIVIC HONOR SOCIETY: For any student interested in applying to the National History and Civic Honor Society, please pick up an application in Mr. Kiernan’s Room 218.
- NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY: There will be an officer meeting of the National Art Honor Society during seminar today, Wednesday, September 10.
- GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER HOME GAME: The Girls Varsity Soccer team takes on Shoreham today, Wednesday, September 10, at 4:30 p.m.
- VARISTY CLUB: There will be a Varsity Club meeting tomorrow, Thursday, September 11, at 7:15 a.m. in the main gym. Please make all efforts to attend.
- KALEIDOSCOPE: There will be a quick meeting for all students interested in joining Kaleidoscope, Kings Park High School’s Art & Literary magazine. The meeting will be in Room 124, right after school, tomorrow, Thursday, September 11.
- LEADERSHIP CLUB: Hope your first week of school went well! We are having our first Leadership meeting tomorrow, Thursday, September 11, at 2:00 p.m. in Room 101. We hope you can attend. We will be doing some fun activities! All are welcome! Come hang out with your friends, see old friends, or even make new friends. We hope you can make it.
- KPHS TRIVIA TEAM: For those interested in joining the high school Trivia Team, there will be a brief informational meeting on Friday, September 12, in Room 204, starting immediately after school.
- SEAS CLUB: On Tuesday, September 16, please come join the SEAS Club. We will have many opportunities to gain community service, and you can take part in environmental cleanups. Come meet us in Room 35 after school on Tuesday, September 16. Hope to see you there!
- INTERACT CLUB: If you are looking for community service, the Interact Club will be meeting on Wednesday, September 17, after school in Room 212. Everybody is welcome!
