- INFORMATION REGARDING STUDENT PARKING: Please pay attention to ParentSquare messages: Whenever we have a delayed opening, there is NO student parking. If you choose to park in this situation, parking is forfeited for 2 weeks.
- WINNING SEMINAR OF THE HALLOWEEN DOOR DECORATING CONTEST: The National Art Honor Society would like to announce the winner of our annual Halloween Door Decorating Contest! Coming in 3rd Place is Mrs. Collins’ seminar and coming in 2nd Place is Ms. White’s seminar. Our 1st Place winner is Ms. Silverstein’s seminar! Congratulations!!! Your prize will be awarded during Thursday’s (November 13) seminar class…Enjoy! Thank you to everyone for supporting the National Art Honor Society!
- KPHS-PFA CLOTHING DRIVE: Changing out your summer clothes for winter? Cleaning closets to get ready for the holidays? The KPHS-PFA Clothing Drive is from Monday, November 10 – Friday, November 21. Drop off in the high school lobby by Friday, November 21, at 8:00 a.m. Students will earn community service! Drop a bag and sign the list! For more information, send an email to KPHSPFA@gmail.com. - ATTENTION STAFF AND STUDENTS - 5K WALK AND RUN – NOVEMBER 15: Our 5K walk/run will be at Kings Park High School on Saturday, November 15. Sign-in will be at 7:45 a.m. The Opening Ceremony will be at 8:30 a.m. and then the 5K begins. Please come out to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention with the Hope Squad.
- LOOKING FOR GENTLY USED BOOKS: The National English Honor Society is collecting gently used books from students, faculty, and staff through Monday, December 1. Students can receive 1 community service credit. Books can be dropped off in the main office for staff and Mrs. D’Aleo’s Room 110 for student credit.
- YEARBOOK SALES: Although the year has just started, now is the best time to purchase a yearbook. The price is currently set to $120 and will go up after the new year. - CROCHET CLUB: There will be a Crochet Club meeting today, Monday, November 10, after school in Room 32. If you want to learn how to crochet or already know how – you are all welcome!
- MOCK TRIAL: There will be an important Mock Trial meeting at 2:00 p.m. today, Monday, November 10, in Room 215. We will be working through an important issue and how it applies to the Mock Trial process.
- GIRLS LACROSSE: For anyone interested in playing Girls Lacrosse, there will be a meeting today, Monday, November 10, at 2:15 p.m. in Room 101.
- SELF-CARE GROUP: Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious? Join the self-care group with Mrs. Doelger! Group leaders will meet today, Monday, November 10, in Room 101 during first half of seminar. All are welcome for the meeting on Wednesday, November 19 also in Room 101 during first half of seminar. Hope you can join!
- FASHION CLUB: The Fashion Club will meet Thursday, November 13, after school in Room 32. All are welcome!
- FOOTBALL MEETING: There will be a Football meeting this Thursday, November 13, at 2:00 p.m. in Room 121 for anyone interested in playing football next season. If you have any questions, please see Coach O’Brien in Room 121.
- ATTENTION NO PLACE FOR HATE MEMBERS: Our next No Place for Hate meeting will be on Thursday, November 13, in Room 101 during first half of seminar.
