KPHS-PFA CLOTHING DRIVE: Changing out your summer clothes for winter? Cleaning closets to get ready for the holidays? The KPHS-PFA Clothing Drive continues until this Friday, November 21. SUFFOLK COMMUNITY COLLEGE ONSITE ADMISSIONS: There is still time to sign up for the Suffolk Community College onsite admissions. You will get a decision on the spot! To sign up, complete the Google form on the Senior Classroom or see your counselor.

NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH: In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Kings Park Culture Club will be sharing a Native American proverb each seminar day for the remainder of the month. Today’s proverb: “Every struggle, whether won or lost, strengthens us for the next to come.”

LOOKING FOR GENTLY USED BOOKS: The National English Honor Society is collecting gently used books from students, faculty, and staff through Monday, December 1. Students can receive 1 community service credit. Books can be dropped off in the main office for staff and Mrs. D’Aleo’s Room 110 for student credit.

YEARBOOK SALES: Although the year has just started, now is the best time to purchase a yearbook. The price is currently set to $120 and will go up after the new year. ATTENTION BOYS PLANNING ON TRYING OUT FOR JV OR VARSITY BASKETBALL TODAY, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17: You must be registered on Final Forms. There are three parts: student online signature, parent online signature, and updated physical. If you are not registered with all three parts completed by today, Monday, November 17, you cannot try out. If any questions, see Coach White for JV and Coach Rube for Varsity.
