- INFORMATION REGARDING STUDENT PARKING: Please pay attention to ParentSquare messages: Whenever we have a delayed opening, there is NO student parking. If you choose to park in this situation, parking is forfeited for 2 weeks.
- KPHS FALL DRAMA: Come see “SHERLOCK HOLMES” this month! Tonight, Friday, December 12, @ 7:00 p.m. and tomorrow night, Saturday, December 13, @ 7:00 p.m. $12 a person. Kings Park High School auditorium.
- SPRING DRIVER EDUCATION APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE: Spring Driver Education applications are available for pickup from Ms. Sparling in the Attendance Office (Room 31) or from Mr. Celeste in Room 201. Completed applications are due back to Ms. Sparling no later than Friday, January 16, by 3:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Sparling or Mr. Celeste.
- ATTENTION STUDENTS: A BIG THANK YOU to our students who have donated gifts for the Cheer Bus! We are collecting new and unwrapped toys for the “Kids Need More” Cheer Bus. If you have a toy donation, please drop it off in the lobby and sign up for community service hours.
- GINGERBREAD HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST: Get into the holiday spirit and attend the Gingerbread House Decorating Contest hosted by the DECA club, after school on Wednesday, December 17! For $25, decorate and take home your very own gingerbread house while enjoying snacks, music, and prizes. Today, Friday, December 12, is the last day to sign up. Please see Ms. Gatti in the Guidance Office if you are attending this event.
- ANNUAL GINGERBREAD HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST: Peer Support is sponsoring their Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Contest on Friday, December 19, right after school in the cafeteria. Come on down…all are welcome!!
- HOLIDAY DOOR DECORATING CONTEST: The National Art Honor Society Holiday Door Decorating contest has begun! This year’s theme is Gingerbread People. Our members will be coming around during seminar selling gingerbread people. We hope your seminar participates for a prize. The winning seminar will get a FREE BREAKFAST when we return from break. Monday, December 22, will be the judging for each seminar’s door. Happy Holidays Everyone!!!
- INTERESTED IN THEATER AND KINGS PARK HISTORY? If you are interested in theater and Kings Park history, please see Mrs. Maffei about an opportunity to earn community service hours at the Heritage Museum.
- YEARBOOK SALES: Although the year has just started, now is the best time to purchase a yearbook. The price is currently set to $120 and will go up after the new year. - GIRLS SOCCER: There will be a brief girls soccer meeting for any returning players on Monday, December 15, in Room 133, at 2:00 p.m.
