- INFORMATION REGARDING STUDENT PARKING: Please pay attention to ParentSquare messages: Whenever we have a delayed opening, there is NO student parking. If you choose to park in this situation, parking is forfeited for 2 weeks.
- SPRING DRIVER EDUCATION APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE: Spring Driver Education applications are available for pickup from Ms. Sparling in the Attendance Office (Room 31) or from Mr. Celeste in Room 201. Completed applications are due back to Ms. Sparling no later than Friday, January 16, by 3:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Sparling or Mr. Celeste.
- ATTENTION SENIORS: Please keep checking Parent Square and the Senior Google Classroom for important information and deadlines concerning graduation. The Diploma Request form needs to be filled out and submitted by a parent/guardian by Friday, January 23. Please give a reminder at home of this date. Also, information went out about Caps and Gowns. Please make sure to submit all your information between Monday, January 26, through Friday, February 13. Please see Mr. Durland or Mrs. Maffei with any questions!
- ATTENTION ALL PIANO PLAYERS: Piano NYSSMA forms are now available from any school music teacher. Stop by today so you can sign up. All forms are due by Friday, February 6.
- YEARBOOK SALES: The price of the yearbook is now $130.00. To order one, go to the yearbookforever website and follow the prompts. Please contact Mr. Soltysik with any questions (soltysiks@kpcsd.org). Parents/Guardians: In addition to purchasing a yearbook, you can create a personalized “Ad” for your child that will be placed in the back of the book. Ads are limited to 1 per student in order to allow space for as many students as possible. Pricing options vary based on the size Ad you wish to create. Ads must be purchased and submitted by Monday, March 9. The option to buy an Ad (“Create an Ad”) is right below the yearbook purchase option.
- ATTENTION HOPE SQUAD MEMBERS: Just a reminder that our meeting is today, Friday, January 9, during the first half of seminar in Room 101. Please plan on attending.
- NATIONAL HISTORY AND CIVICS HONOR SOCIETY: The National History and Civics Honor Society will be holding their next meeting on Tuesday, January 13, at 2:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
- NATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY: Anyone interested in joining the National English Honor Society, please attend the mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday, January 13, at 2:00 p.m. in Room 110. The applications will be distributed, so be sure to attend this brief meeting.
- SADD: SADD will be holding their next meeting on Thursday, January 15, at 2:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
- FASHION CLUB: There will be a Fashion Club meeting on Thursday, January 15, after school in Room 32. All are welcome!
- HERITAGE MUSEUM: Looking for a fun night at the museum? Then come down to our own Heritage Museum at RJO on Friday, January 23, to see some of our own student actors “come alive” while seeing an amazing show. This month’s show will be one attributed to “Hispanic Night.” Doors open at 6:00 p.m.!
