- INFORMATION REGARDING STUDENT PARKING: Please pay attention to ParentSquare messages: Whenever we have a delayed opening, there is NO student parking. If you choose to park in this situation, parking is forfeited for 2 weeks.
- GET READY TO CELEBRATE AT THE 16TH ANNUAL KINGS PARK ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE! The parade will take place on Saturday, March 7, at 12:00 p.m. The route begins at Lou Avenue and Pulaski Road, travels down Main Street, and ends near William T. Rogers Middle School on Old Dock Road. This is a great opportunity to come out, support your community, and show your Kings Park pride! Bring your friends and family, wear your green, and get ready for a fun afternoon filled with music, marching groups, and lots of Irish spirit.
- AWARENESS DAY: Awareness Day is this Sunday, March 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the high school. Sign up and earn 6 community service credits. Make new friends and share an unforgettable experience! See Ms. Rossi in Room 109 or any Peer Support member to sign up and take a permission slip. Peer Support members will be visiting classrooms during seminar! Lunch is included in the $20 fee. See you there!
- ATTENTION STUDENTS - SPRING COLLEGE FAIR: On Tuesday, March 10, we will be holding our spring college fair in the cafeteria with 50 colleges attending. The fair will take place during periods 1 & 2. For many of you, your teachers will be bringing you down as a class, but if you would like to attend and your class isn’t going, you can pick up a pass in the Guidance Office any time on Monday, March 9.
- “PIE-A-TEACHER” PI DAY: King’s Park High School’s annual “Pie-A-Teacher” Pi Day raffle is on!! Buy a raffle ticket for a chance to throw a pie at your favorite teacher on Thursday, March 12, during the first half of seminar. Raffle tickets are 2 for $1 and will be available for purchase during seminar or in Room 230.
- YEARBOOK SALES: The price of the yearbook is now $140.00. To order one, go to the yearbookforever website and follow the prompts. Please contact Mr. Soltysik with any questions (soltysiks@kpcsd.org). Parents/Guardians (of seniors only): In addition to purchasing a yearbook, you can create a personalized “Ad” for your child that will be placed in the back of the book. Ads are limited to 1 per student in order to allow space for as many students as possible. Pricing options vary based on the size Ad you wish to create. Ads must be purchased and submitted by Monday, March 9. The option to buy an Ad (“Create an Ad”) is right below the yearbook purchase option.
- LEADERSHIP CLUB: We hope you can join us today, Thursday, March 5, in Room 101 for Leadership! We will be playing some bingo and giving away some great prizes. All are welcome!
- A REMINDER TO GIRLS WHO BORROW SNEAKERS FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION REGULARLY ON DAY 4 PERIOD 6-7 & 8-9 BECAUSE YOU FORGOT YOUR OWN: Please try to remember your sneakers for Friday, March 6.
- NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE: The National Art Honor Society has applications available for the 26-27 school year. If you would like to apply to be part of the NAHS, get an application from Art rooms 32 & 33. Completed applications are due on Friday, March 6.
