- INFORMATION REGARDING STUDENT PARKING: Please pay attention to ParentSquare messages: Whenever we have a delayed opening, there is NO student parking. If you choose to park in this situation, parking is forfeited for 2 weeks.
DUE TO THE UPCOMING BUDGET AND BOARD OF EDUCATION TRUSTEE VOTE, THERE WILL BE
NO SENIOR PARKING NEXT WEEK ON TUESDAY, MAY 19 (DAY 1)
Senior Experience students can park only if they are leaving for their internships on this date. Wilson Tech students that drive themselves to Wilson Tech are also allowed to park. For all other Seniors, please do not attempt to park in the student parking lot. The lot is reserved for voters that day. Thank you for your cooperation.
- AP EXAMS CONTINUE THIS WEEK: If you have a morning exam, report to the room at 7:30 a.m. For the afternoon, report to the room at 11:30 a.m. There will be no bells when AP exams are in session.
- SUMMER DRIVER EDUCATION APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE: Summer Driver Education applications are available for pickup from Ms. Sparling in Room 31 or from Mr. Celeste in Room 201. Completed applications are due back to Ms. Sparling or Mr. Celeste no later than Friday, June 5, by 3:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please see Ma. Sparling or Mr. Celeste.
- CLASS OF 2026: Please make sure to complete your photo check-in for graduation. This can be found on Parent Square and your Google Classroom. Flyers are also displayed around the building for your convenience.
- ATTENTION SENIORS: Information on the Senior Prom has been posted on Parent Square and your Google Classroom. Please see Mr. Durland with any questions.
- STUDENT COUNCIL APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE: Are you a born leader? If so, Kings Park Student Council is looking for students with strong leadership skills who are willing to dedicate their time to serving the student body as well as the community. If you are interested in running for a Student Council officer position for the 2026-2027 school year, please pick up an application from Mr. Bishop in Room 210. The deadline to hand in your application is tomorrow, Friday, May 15. This is for all students looking to become class officers or to run for the newly appointed Board of Education Liaison. No applications will be accepted after the deadline date. Please see Mr. Bishop for details. This is open to all students in grades 9-11.
- YEARBOOK SALES: The price of the yearbook is now $140.00. To order one, go to the yearbookforever website and follow the prompts. Please contact Mr. Soltysik with any questions (soltysiks@kpcsd.org).
- ATTENTION ALL HOPE SQUAD MEMBERS: We are looking for volunteers, during all lunch periods, to help out with Hope Week. Please see an advisor if you are interested.
- SADD MEETING: SADD will hold a brief but mandatory meeting today, Thursday, May 14, in Room 218 after school.
- LEADERSHIP UNO TOURNAMENT: Come play in an UNO tournament today, Thursday, May 14, in Leadership at 2:00 p.m. in Room 101. All are welcome! We hope to see you there. If any questions, see Ms. Ayres or Mrs. Cohen.
